Chettiar Park, located approximately 1.5 km uphill from Kodaikanal town on the way to Kurinji Andavar Temple, is a serene botanical garden managed by the Kodaikanal Township. This compact yet beautifully landscaped park is renowned for its lush greenery, vibrant flower beds, and meticulously manicured lawns. It offers a tranquil environment, making it an ideal spot for leisurely walks, photography, and relaxation. he park is particularly notable for its seasonal blooms, including the rare Kurinji flower, which blossoms once every 12 years, creating a stunning purple hue throughout the area. While the Kurinji flower last bloomed in 2004, visitors can still enjoy the park's diverse flora during their visit. Chettiar Park is also a popular location for photography and has been featured in several South Indian films.
