Bryant Park, located on the eastern side of Kodaikanal Lake in Tamil Nadu, is a 20.5-acre botanical garden established in 1908 by H.D. Bryant, a forest officer from Madurai. Managed by the Tamil Nadu Horticulture Department, it is renowned for its vibrant floral displays and serene ambiance. The park boasts over 740 varieties of roses and more than 325 species of trees, cacti, and shrubs. A notable feature is its glasshouse, which houses a diverse collection of exotic plants. An annual flower show held in May attracts numerous visitors, showcasing a kaleidoscope of colors and fragrances. Additionally, the park is home to a 157-year-old eucalyptus tree and a significant Bodhi tree, adding to its historical and spiritual appeal. With its meticulously landscaped gardens, Bryant Park offers a tranquil retreat for nature enthusiasts and photographers.
