About Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple

The Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, located near Nathula Pass in Sikkim, is a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, an Indian Army soldier who died in 1968. Known as the "Hero of Nathula," he is believed to guard the Indo-China border even after his death. Soldiers and locals alike revere him as a guardian spirit. The temple, maintained by the Indian Army, includes his personal belongings and a shrine built in his honor. Pilgrims visit to pay respect, offer prayers, and experience the spiritual aura of the place, surrounded by the breathtaking Himalayan landscape and deep-rooted patriotism.
