• Weather: Pack warm clothes as temperatures can drop suddenly. Mornings and evenings are particularly cold, even in summer. Carry a windproof jacket and gloves.
• Altitude Matters: Take it slow as the high altitude can cause breathing problems. Spend at least a day in Kaza to acclimatize before visiting the bridge. Carry basic medicines for altitude sickness.
• Best Timing: Visit between May to October when the weather is pleasant and the roads are clear. July-August might see some rainfall, making the roads slippery.
• Stay Options: Book your stay in Kibber or Kaza as there are no hotels near the bridge. Both places offer basic guesthouses and homestays at reasonable prices.
• Transportation Tips: Hire a local taxi or driver who knows the mountain roads well. Self-driving can be tricky on these narrow mountain roads.

• Phone Network: Phone networks are weak. Only BSNL works in this area, and that too with limited connectivity.
