About Manakamana Temple

Manakamana Temple is a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, believed to fulfill the wishes of her devotees. Located in the Gorkha district of Nepal, the temple sits atop a hill at an altitude of 1,300 meters and offers stunning views of the Trishuli River and surrounding Himalayan peaks. Pilgrims reach the temple via a scenic cable car ride, which is one of the first in Nepal. The temple holds great religious importance and is especially busy during festivals and auspicious days. With its spiritual significance and breathtaking location, Manakamana Temple is a cherished destination for faith and devotion.
