Khecheopalri Lake, nestled in the West Sikkim district of India, is a sacred and serene water body revered by both Buddhists and Hindus. Surrounded by lush forests and believed to fulfill wishes, the lake is part of the Buddhist pilgrimage circuit. Despite being located in a forested area, its surface remains mysteriously free of leaves, thanks to local birds that keep it clean. The lake is not only a spiritual destination but also a haven for nature lovers, offering a tranquil atmosphere and scenic beauty. It reflects the deep harmony between spirituality and nature found throughout Sikkim.
