Nearest Airport: Bagdogra Airport (about 160 km from Phuentsholing).

By Train:

  1. Nearest Railway Station: Hasimara (around 20 km from Phuentsholing).
  2. Time Taken: About 40 minutes by taxi or shared jeep.
  3. Trains from Kolkata, Siliguri, and Assam connect to Hasimara.


By Road:

From Jaigaon (West Bengal), you can cross directly into Phuentsholing on foot or by car. Regular buses and taxis run from Siliguri, Alipurduar, and other nearby towns. Indian travellers can easily get permits at the border for onward travel into Bhutan.
