About Pillar rocks view Point

Pillar Rocks Viewpoint in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, is a captivating natural attraction featuring three towering granite pillars, each approximately 400 feet tall. Located about 8 km from Kodaikanal Lake, these formations offer panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and forests. The area is also known for the "Devil's Kitchen," a deep chamber between two of the pillars. Visitors can enjoy a mini garden adorned with seasonal blooms, making it an ideal spot for picnics and photography. The viewpoint is managed by the Tamil Nadu Forest Department and is open daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Entry fees are ₹5 per person, with additional charges for cameras.
