Nohkalikai Falls is known as one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India. The water falls straight down without touching the rocks in between, which makes its drop clearly visible from the viewpoint.
There is also a local story behind its name. “Noh Ka Likai” means “jump of Likai.” It refers to a woman who, according to local belief, jumped from the cliff due to a tragic personal incident.
