Gorichen Peak, standing tall at 6,858 meters (22,500 feet), is the highest peak in Arunachal Pradesh and one of the most revered Himalayan summits in Northeast India. Locally known as Sa-Nga Phu or “Kingdom of Deity,” it holds great spiritual significance for the Monpa tribe, who believe the peak protects their land from evil spirits.
Located between Tawang and West Kameng districts, Gorichen offers breathtaking views of snow-covered ranges and pristine valleys, making it a paradise for trekkers, mountaineers, and adventure seekers.
