Coaker’s Walk in Kodaikanal is a scenic 1-kilometer-long pedestrian path, constructed in 1872 by Lieutenant Coaker. Situated on the southern edge of the hill station, it offers panoramic views of the Pambar River valley, Dolphin’s Nose, and even distant Madurai on clear days. The walkway begins near Van Allen Hospital and extends to St. Peter’s Church, providing an ideal spot for leisurely walks, photography, and cycling. The area is well-maintained with safety fences and features a telescope house for enhanced views. Open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, entry fees are ₹10 per person, ₹20 for the telescope, and ₹30 for still photography. It's best to visit before 2:30 PM to avoid the afternoon mist.
