Chandratal is connected by road from Manali and Kaza. From Manali, you need to travel via Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass to reach Batal. From Batal, the lake is about 14 km away and requires either trekking or using a private/shared vehicle. The route includes rough mountain roads, so taxis, jeeps, and buses are commonly used.
