About Uluwatu Temple

Pura Luhur Uluwatu is one of Bali’s most spectacular sea temples, beautifully located on a steep cliff about 70 meters above. As the waves crash below and the sun sets, you’ll understand why this temple is a must-visit in Bali Tour Packages. Uluwatu Temple is dedicated to Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, the supreme god in Balinese Hinduism. Built in the 11th century, it is one of the 6 key temples believed to protect the island from devils and evil spirits.

Another major highlight is the Kecak Fire Dance, performed every evening against the setting sun. Kekak is a cultural performance that brings Balinese mythology to life through rhythmic chanting and mesmerising fire displays.
