Situated in the jungle of Bali’s Bangli Regency, the Tukad Cepung Waterfall is a hidden gem with pure natural beauty and sheer photo-magic. Located near the village of Tembuku, the waterfall sits inside a large gulf and is famous for the melodramatic rays of sunlight that come through the cut-away rock ceiling and light up the falls.
Unlike many waterfalls, where you arrive and see the fall from above or at its face, here you descend into the valley and walk into shallow water and over rocks to reach the base. This makes Tukad Cepung not only a great nature experience but also an ideal stop for travellers looking for something off-beat during their Bali tour packages. The mix of adventure, nature and the unique “light‐beam cave waterfall” effect makes it special.
