Tirta Empul is one of the most sacred water temples in Bali, located near Tampaksiring village. This beautiful temple is famous for its holy spring water, where Balinese Hindus come to perform purification rituals. Built in 926 AD during the Warmadewa dynasty, Tirta Empul’s name means “holy water spring.” The temple’s main attraction is its long rectangular pool with crystal-clear water flowing from 30 fountains. The entry fee to Tirta Empul Temple is around ₹397 to ₹500 per adult (approximately IDR 50,000). Sarong rental is included in the ticket price.
