About Sri Bhadrakali Temple

The Bhadrakali Temple is an ancient Hindu temple located on a hilltop between Hanamkonda and Warangal in Telangana. It is dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The temple was built in the 7th century by the Chalukya kings and is believed to be one of the oldest temples in India devoted to the fierce yet protective form of the goddess.

This temple is often included in Andhra Pradesh tour packages because of its spiritual significance and its peaceful surroundings. The idol of Goddess Bhadrakali here is unique—she has eight arms and is seated in a sitting posture with a serene face. The temple is set near a beautiful lake, adding to the calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Thousands of devotees and tourists visit this temple every year to offer prayers, enjoy the scenic view, and experience the blend of history and devotion. Whether you are spiritual or just want to explore the rich culture of Telangana, this temple is a perfect spot to visit.
