About Shaheed Dweep

Howrah Bridge on Shaheed Dweep (formerly Neil Island) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands is a natural rock formation, not to be confused with the famous bridge in Kolkata. Locally known as the Natural Bridge, it was formed by the continuous action of sea waves eroding the rocky shore over centuries. The bridge is made of coral and limestone and is best visited during low tide when the structure is clearly visible and accessible. Surrounded by tide pools and marine life, it is a favorite spot for photography and nature lovers, offering a unique glimpse into the island’s geological beauty.

Had a great trip to Andaman with Viacation! We visited Port Blair, Cellular Jail, and the beautiful Havelock Island. Radhanagar Beach was absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing. The team managed everything really well – from hotel bookings to ferry transfers. Cellular Jail’s light and sound show was emotional and worth attending. Loved how smooth the entire experience was.
