Pilanesberg National Park, located in South Africa’s North West Province, is a renowned wildlife reserve set within an ancient volcanic crater. Covering over 55,000 hectares, it offers diverse landscapes, including savannah, woodland, and rocky outcrops. The park is home to the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros—along with numerous other species such as giraffes, hippos, and over 350 bird species.
