About Periyar Lake

Periyar Lake is a peaceful lake located in Kerala’s Western Ghats. Originally formed by the construction of the Mullaperiyar Dam in 1895, the lake has become a vital source of biodiversity and a must-visit spot on any Kerala tour package. This calm and peaceful lake, surrounded by lush greenery, lies within the well-known Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.

About Tickets/Entry Fees of Periyar Lake

INR 45 for Indian adults and INR 15 for children for the national park entrance, plus INR 255 for an adult boat ticket and INR 85 for a child boat ticket.
