The Parliament of India, located in New Delhi, is the supreme legislative body of the country. Designed by British architects Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, the circular building was completed in 1927. It houses the two houses of the Indian Parliament – the Lok Sabha (House of the People) and the Rajya Sabha (Council of States). The Parliament is the center of democratic governance in India, where laws are made and national issues are debated. Surrounded by lush gardens and architectural grandeur, the building symbolizes the strength of India’s democracy and the country's commitment to the principles of the Constitution.
