Pari Mahal

Perched on the scenic Zabarwan Mountains overlooking the breathtaking Dal Lake, Pari Mahal is one of the most enchanting Mughal gardens in Kashmir. Built in the mid-1600s by Prince Dara Shikoh, the eldest son of Shah Jahan, the structure was originally constructed as a library and residence for his tutor. It later became an important centre for astrology and astronomy studies.
