About Naina Devi temple

The Naina Devi Temple, located in Bilaspur district, Himachal Pradesh, is one of the 51 Shakti Peeths, sacred sites where parts of Goddess Sati's body are believed to have fallen. The temple is perched atop a hill, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Devotees can reach the temple by a road that winds up the hill, followed by a climb of approximately 100 steps, or by using a cable car service available from the base. The temple complex also includes the samadhi of Bhagat Jeona Morh, a revered figure associated with the site. The Naina Devi Temple is renowned for its spiritual significance and attracts numerous pilgrims, especially during festivals like Navratri and Shravan Ashtami .
