Jaganmohan Palace, situated in Mysuru, Karnataka, is a 19th-century royal residence built in 1861 by Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar III. Originally serving as an alternative home for the Wodeyar dynasty, it became the main residence during the reconstruction of Mysore Palace after a fire in 1897. In 1915, it was transformed into the Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery, housing over 2,000 artworks, including masterpieces by Raja Ravi Varma, S.L. Haldankar’s Glow of Hope, and traditional Mysore paintings. The palace's Indo-Saracenic architecture features intricate carvings and murals depicting Hindu epics. Its auditorium remains a cultural hub, hosting classical music and dance performances.
