Hunder

Hunder is a cold desert village located in the Nubra Valley region of Ladakh, around 125 kilometres from Leh. How to Reach Hunder:

Hunder is reached through the Leh–Khardung La–Nubra Valley route. Shared taxis and tempo travellers for Nubra Valley are available near Leh taxi stand, usually costing around ₹800–₹1,500 per person. Private taxis range between ₹10,000–₹16,000 for round trips depending on vehicle type and duration. The road journey takes around 5–7 hours, including permits, checkpoints, and mountain driving conditions. Most travellers stop briefly at Khardung La before continuing towards Hunder.
