Perched at 6,000 feet amidst the serene landscapes of Ranikhet, the Golf Ground Ranikhet—also known as Upat Golf Course—is one of Asia's highest golf courses. Established during the British era and now maintained by the Indian Army's Kumaon Regiment, this 9-hole course offers a unique blend of challenging play and breathtaking vistas. Surrounded by lush pine and oak forests, golfers are treated to panoramic views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi. Open to the public for a nominal fee, it's not just a haven for golf enthusiasts but also a tranquil spot for nature lovers and photographers alike.
