About Elephant Beach

Elephant Beach is one of Andaman's most gorgeous hidden gems! Located on Havelock Island (now known as Swaraj Dweep), this beach is a great place for water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers.

Despite its name, you won't find any elephants here! The beach got its name from the elephant-shaped rock formation that once stood on its shore, which unfortunately was destroyed during the 2004 tsunami. However, this natural disaster led to an unexpected silver lining – the formation of stunning coral reefs that now make it a top snorkelling spot.

About Tickets/Entry Fees:

Entry to Elephant Beach is free, but visitors need to pay for water sports activities. Snorkelling and sea walking prices range from ₹1,000 to ₹3,500 per person, depending on the operator and duration.

Had a great trip to Andaman with Viacation! We visited Port Blair, Cellular Jail, and the beautiful Havelock Island. Radhanagar Beach was absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing.
