Dudhsagar Falls in Goa is one of India's tallest and is counted as one of the most stunning waterfalls in India. Dudhsagar Waterfall gets its name from “Sea of Milk” because when the water falls from 310 metres, it resembles milk. The water flows with immense force and creates a spray that creates a misty atmosphere around the falls.
Located on the Goa-Karnataka border, this four-tiered waterfall is part of the Mandovi River and flows through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary.
An interesting fact: the Dudhsagar Falls gained fame after featuring in the Bollywood movie Chennai Express. In the movie, the waterfall looked so good that people from all over India flocked here in just a few days.
