The Brahma Temple in Pushkar, Rajasthan, is the only temple in India dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator in Hindu mythology. Situated near the sacred Pushkar Lake, it is believed that Brahma performed a yajna here, and the lake emerged from a lotus flower dropped by him. The current marble structure dates back to the 14th century and features a distinctive red shikhara (spire) adorned with a hamsa (swan) motif, symbolizing Brahma's mount. Inside, the sanctum houses a four-faced idol of Brahma, with Goddess Gayatri seated beside him. Devotees offer silver coins and coins with inscribed names, which are embedded in the temple floor and walls. The temple attracts thousands of pilgrims, especially during the annual Pushkar Fair.
