About Bindebasini Temple

Bindebasini Temple, located in Pokhara, Nepal, is one of the region's oldest and most revered Hindu temples. Dedicated to Goddess Bindebasini, a manifestation of Durga, the temple sits atop a small hill, offering panoramic views of the Annapurna range and Pokhara Valley. Built in the 18th century by King Khadga Bum Malla, it holds deep spiritual significance for locals and pilgrims. The white pagoda-style structure attracts worshippers year-round, especially during Dashain, Nepal’s major festival. Surrounded by serene gardens and ancient trees, Bindebasini Temple serves as both a religious site and a peaceful retreat for visitors and devotees alike.
